Oil spill draws silent protest

Here is the photo I found on a whiteboard in a bar in Ocean Springs. A local artist sketched it fairly quickly, then added the expletive. I had to blur the word before I could post the image.

He was among the many people who talked at length about their concerns on the oil spill.

Another snapshot I took is of a Jolly Roger at half mast on a boat in Ocean Springs Harbor. I couldn’t find the owner of the boat to ask if it was in protest to the spill, but since the flag appeared to be brand new, I would presume that that would be the case.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.
