Snack mix recipe

1 cup shelled almonds

1 cup shelled pecan halves

1/2 cup shelled pistachios

1  cup pretzel sticks (or break up regular-sized pretzels)

2 cup cheerios (any kind)

2 1/2 cups multigrain or wheat chex

1 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup dried pineapple

1/2 cup dried mango

1 tablespoon (or to taste) Mrs. Dash seasoning (any flavor)

1 teaspoon cayenne powder (optional)

Lightly toss ingredients together.  Place in an airtight bag.

Option: Mix together all ingredients except the dried fruits and seasonings. Spread out on two large cookie sheets. Drizzle with olive oil (or dab with butter) and sprinkle seasoning over the mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 300 degrees. Let cool completely. Place in a large mixing bowl and toss in dried fruit. Store in an airtight bag.
